All rooms overlook a tranquil lake setting with direct rear door access to lakeside views across 20 acres of private grounds, gardens and nature, with Magdala Motor Lodge being amongst the quietest accommodation choices between Melbourne and Adelaide, assuring you a great night’s sleep in peaceful surroundings.

Each room is equipped with Smart TV, Free Wi-Fi, Reverse Cycle HeatingCooling, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster and Fridge. Superior and Deluxe Suites feature premium views, upgraded furnishings and a comprehensive minibar, with Deluxe suites also providing a relaxing corner Spa bath.

Located just 4 minutes from Stawells town centre, 10 minutes from Great Western and 18 minutes to Halls Gap, Magdala is an ideal base for exploring the Grampians National Park, McKenzie Falls, The Pinnacle, Lake Lonsdale, the renowned wineries of the Grampians and Pyrenees, and the perfect base from which to visit Victorias famous Silo Art Trail.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 10:00.

Drivers Licence and Credit Card of the Primary Guest for each room is required upon Check-In. For multiple room bookings, the Primary Guests Identification and CreditDebit Card is required for each room.

A credit card pre-authorisation of $200 per room may be required upon arrival to cover any incidentals, such as restaurant charges or minibar, of which any unused portion will be released at the end of your stay. Note that depending on your bank, pre-authorisation settlement may take 3-5 business days.

A Credit Card Surcharge of 1.5% apply to payments with Visa & Mastercard, 2.2% with American Express & 3% with JCB & UnionPay. There is no surcharge for payment by EFTPOS Debit, or Cash.

Magdalas Lakeside Restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 6pm. Reservations are preferred. Room service is available from 6pm. Last orders are taken by 8pm - Dining and bar is open to 9pm.

Swimming pool is open September to approx midend June, dependent upon weather and may be closed during July to August. Pool closes daily at Sunset. Please visit reception for pool access & induction.
